70,000+ jobs in Digital marketing in 2016
IT sector hiring is expected to mark enormous uptrend this year as more and more organizations focus on digitization and the sector is prone to create 2.5 lakh new job openings this year.
According to staffing services firm Teamlease Services, the growing entrepreneur activity coupled with shift in business focus from a service provider to a solution provider is expected to push IT sector hiring to new heights.
Last 12 months, the hiring within the IT area noticed a rise of 12%, this year the field waited to witness a 14-16% growth in recruitment.
“With companies focusing on technology and digitization, the hiring attention has shifted from scale to ability. Majority of the companies are realizing that at the same time they require common skills, it is the achievement of niche skills as a way to be the game changer,” TeamLease services assistant General manager Alka Dhingra said.
Though companies will proceed to recruit common skills, the profiles a good way to be in demand includes Digital Marketing, which requires the candidate to create ways that will bring online traffic to the company website and its conversations.
The Digital marketing profile is awaited to see more than 70,000 job openings in 2016.
Other in-demand profiles within the IT sector include User Experience and User Interface Designers; Full-stack web developers, product developers, mobile product development engineers, business analysts, information security analysts, Cloud architects/integration, data scientists and content management system(CMS), the report said.
The jobs outlook for this sector is bullish going forward as new job possibilities on this space is anticipated to develop to 22% by 2020, the report said.
